Tex Mex Rice & Beans

 

Kat's  Frijoles

 

2lbs pinto beans
2 tbs chili powder
2tbs
Sauces Mexican 
2 tbs granulated beef bouillon or 2 cubes
1 med. onion chopped
2 tsp garlic
3 jalapenos cut in half lengthwise
6 slices bacon 
Salt & pepper

Wash beans, place in a pot and cover with 2 inches water. Bring to a boil and boil rapidly
for 8 mins. Remove from heat and let stand 1 hour. Put back over medium heat, and add water and all other ingredients and cook for 2to 3 hrs, or until soft and soupy
