Combine oil, peanut butter, lime juice, soy sauce, ginger, garlic and sugar. Blend well. Place in a saucepan and heat until mixture is hot and bubbly.
Combine cucumber, onion and Romaine lettuce. Place Boston lettuce on serving plates, top with cucumber mixture. Place ham that has been heated in microwave, on top of lettuce. Spoon hot peanut dressing over ham. Sprinkle with peanuts.
