Salisbury & Smothered Steak

 

Lynn's Slow Cooker Strip Smothered Steak

2 lb Chuck roast, cut in 1" strip
1/2 cup Flour
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Pepper
1 lrg Onion
2 lrg Green peppers
1/2 cup Ketchup
1 cup Barbecue sauce
1/2 cup Water
4 oz Mushrooms, canned
1 tbl Molasses
2 tbl Brown sugar
1 tbl Soy sauce

 Method :
Preparation TPlace steak strips, flour, salt, and pepper in slow cooker. Stir well to co steak. Slice onions and pepper very thin. Add the rest of the ingredients. Cover, cook on high for 1 hour, low for 8 hours.
Serve over rice, noodles, potatoes, or with crusty bread. Also makes a good sandwich filling.
