Lynn's Link Sausage Cabbage Potato Casserole

 

1 tbl Butter
2 tbl Flour
2 cup Skim Milk
    Salt and Pepper to taste
2 lb Potatoes peeled and thinly sliced
1 lrg Onion -- thinly sliced
1/2 lb Cabbage -- shredded
1/2 lb Low-fat Smoked Sausage thinly sliced

 Method :
Make a white sauce of the butter, flour, and milk. Season to taste.
Spread a third of the potato slices in the bottom of a greased 3-quart casserole. Distribute half the onion, half the cabbage, and half the kielbasa.
Add a third of the sauce. Repeat the layers.
Cover and bake at 350 for 1 hour 15 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.
If there is enough liquid in the casserole, you can remove the cover for the last 15 minutes of baking time.
