Granny's Carmel Sauce

 

1/4 cup brown sugar
2 Tbsp water
½ cup whipping cream
2 tsp. Vanilla
2 oz butter

Combine sugar & water. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly about 3 min. Add cream & vanilla & cook over medium heat, stirring frequently about 5 minutes.
Remove from heat & add butter.
