Back To Seafood Burgers

 

Lynn's Fresh Salmon Cream Cheese On Bagel Burger

 

3/4 lb fresh salmon boned, skinned
    & ground in a food processor
1/2 tsp lemon juice
1 tbl yellow onion minced
1 tbl fresh dill minced or
1/2 tsp Dried Dill
1/2 tbl dry sherry
2 x bagels split
    Non-stick cooking spray
2 oz lowfat cream cheese softened
4 sprg Fresh Dill

 Method :
Heat broiler. In a bowl, combine salmon, lemon juice, minced onion, dill and sherry. Handling as little as possible to avoid compacting it, mix well. Divide mixture into 4 equal portions and form into round patties to fit bagels.
Spray broiler rack with non-stick cooking spray. Place patties on rack.
Broil until salmon is browned on top, about 4 minutes. With a wide spatula, turn over and cook until salmon is opaque in center when you cut into it, 6-8 minutes longer. During last minutes of cooking, place bagels, cut side up, on rack and toast lightly.
Spread cream cheese on bagels, top with a salmon burger and garnish with dill sprigs.
