Back To Slaw Salads

 

Granny's Vanilla Slaw

5 cups Napa or Chinese cabbage; shredded
16 ounces broccoli slaw mix
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup white wine vinegar
1/3 cup olive oil
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon red pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
Mix cabbage and broccoli slaw mix in a large bowl. Set aside. Whisk together remaining ingredients until well blended. Toss with cabbage mixture just before serving.
