Smothered Chicken
James's Breasts Lime Smothered Chicken
3 chicken breasts
5 to 6 tbsp. butter
2 chicken bouillon cubes
2 to 3 c. of hot water
2 tbsp. lemon juice
Salt and pepper
flour
Salt, pepper and flour chicken. In skillet, add butter and brown chicken. Remove
from skillet. Add more butter, 2 to 3 tbsp. flour, salt and pepper and brown
ingredients stir well. Add water, lemon juice and bouillon, thicken. Add
chicken, cover and simmer 30 to 40 minutes.
A tip: If serving mashed potatoes with this dish, save the water to get the 2 to
3 cups you need.
