Granny's Crab Soup
1 lb Beef shin, bone in
3 qt Water
1 large Onion, chopped
2 large Stalks celery, chopped
1 lb Can of tomatoes
1 tbsp Salt
1/4 tsp Black pepper
1/8 tsp Cayenne pepper
10 oz Package frozen mixed vegetables
1 Pckg fresh or frozen mixed soup vegetables
1 lb Maryland crab meat
1/2 lb Maryland claw crabmeat
Put first 8 ingredients in a large pan and simmer, covered, until meat is
very tender, about 3 hours. Add rest of ingredients and simmer, covered,
until vegetables are done.
Makes about 5 quarts of soup
