   Catfish Chowder

 

 

Bring fish bones, water and salt to boil. Reduce heat, simmer 10 minutes. Remove and discard bones. Add onions, potatoes, tomatoes, and pepper to liquid. Bring to boil, then simmer until potatoes are tender. Add fish. Simmer until fish flakes. Add lemon juice and parsley. Serve hot with crisp hush puppies.
