Granny's Cold Buttermilk Soup

 

1 qt. buttermilk
1 tsp sugar
1tsp salt
1 tbs dill weed or 1 tsp dried
1 medium cucumber peeled, seeded and diced
1/2 lb cooked shell cleaned and chopped
Mustard to taste
Parsley or more dill

In the blender combine 1 cup buttermilk, salt, sugar, dill, cucumber and shrimp. Blend until smooth
Pour into bowl, stir in remaining buttermilk and add mustard to taste. Cover and chill several hours.
Serve very cold with a sprinkling of parsley or dill.
