                  Gray Ape Garbanzo Soup

2 tbs olive oil                                                            
1 large chopped onion
2-3 cloves garlic minced                                          
2 cups peeled and cubed sweet potatoes 
3 cups chicken broth                                                
2 tesp minced fresh basil                                          
1 bay leaf
1/2 tesp dried thyme                                                 
1/4 tesp paprika
1 large ripe tomato chopped
salt & pepper to taste
1 can 15 oz garbanzo beans, drained 
5 oz chopped spinach                                             
1 package 10 oz green beans  thawed and cot length wise                                   
     

Heat oil in pot. add onion, garlic and potatoes cook 5 min stirring occasionally. Add broth, bay
leaf, thyme, paprika, salt and pepper. Cover and simmer 10 min. Stir in tomatoes, green and
garbanzo beans. Simmer 13 min add spinach and simmer 1 min. discard bay leaf and serve
