Peanut Soup
3 cups chicken broth or bouillon
1/4 cup chopped celery
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 small onion, chopped fine
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
1 cup milk
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup chopped peanuts, optional
parsley for garnish, optional
Combine stock and next four Items and cook 2 - 3 hours on low fire. Add milk,
flour and water, mixed together and peanut butter to above Items and cook on
high for 15 minutes. Stir constantly with wire whisk until smooth. Serve in
bowls and sprinkle with chopped peanuts and parsley if desired. Peanut Soup
serves 4.
The difficulty about all this dying is that you can't tell a
fellow anything about it, so where does the fun come in?
