Back To Stuffed Peppers
Olive Carrot Stuffed Pepper

8 lg. green peppers
3/4 c. ground meat, sauteed
2 c. cooked white rice
12 black olive, chopped
15 stuffed olives, chopped
1 tbsp. butter
1 c. cooked carrots, cubed
1 egg
Salt and pepper
Wash peppers, remove stem and clean out. Mix together
filling: meat, rice,
black and green olives, butter, salt, pepper and egg. Fry peppers in oil until
sides
are slightly brown. Stuff with filling. Place standing up in baking dish,
our some oil over peppers. Bake 1 hour in moderate oven (375 degrees).
To “shed crocodile tears.”
Crocodiles have a reflex that causes their eyes to tear when they open their
mouths. This makes it look as though they are crying while devouring their prey.
In fact, neither crocodiles nor people who shed “crocodile” tears feel sorry
for their actions.
