Kat's Squirrel Dumpling
3 x dressed squirrels cut serving pieces
Water as needed
Salt to taste
Freshly-ground black pepper to taste
2 cup Bisquick
1/4 cup milk
Method :
Place the squirrels in a big soup pot with enough water to cover. Let simmer
slowly until tender. Season with salt and plenty of black pepper.
When the squirrel is done, combine the Bisquick and milk in a bowl and mix
thoroughly with a fork. Bring the water with the squirrel to a rolling boil, and
drop spoonfuls of the dumpling mix in.
Cook 10 minutes covered and 10 minutes uncovered.
This recipe yields 3 to 6 servings.
