Mad Dog's Cranberry & Wild Rice

 

1 cup uncooked brown rice                
3 cups chicken broth or water
1/2 cup uncooked wild rice                
1 teaspoon chicken bouillon granules
1 medium size onion chopped             
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 cup finely chopped celery                
1 cup whole berry cranberry sauce
1 bay leaf                                            
1 teaspoon dried rosemary or 1 tablespoon fresh  

 

In a 21/2 quart pot combine brown and wild rice, onion, celery, bay leaf, rosemary, broth
bouillon and pepper. Bring mixture to boil, reduce heat to simmer and cover for 45-50 min.
 or until liquid is absorbed. Remove pot and let set uncovered 5 min.
Coat a 2 quart dish. Stir cranberry into mixture and looslly spoon into dish.
cover and bake 30-45 min.@ 350 degrees  

 

It is useless for sheep to pass resolutions in favor of vegetarianism while wolves remain of a different opinion.
