Steak Sandwich with Horseradish
1 pound flank steak
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
¼ cup plain yogurt
2-3 teaspoons prepared horseradish
Kaiser rolls
Sliced tomatoes
Shredded lettuce
Combine
the mayonnaise, yogurt and horseradish in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper if
desired. Set aside.
Season
the steak with the salt and pepper. Broil 5-6 minutes on each side until desired
doneness. Let the meat stand about 10 minutes, then slice across the grain into
thin strips
Pile
the meat on the Kaiser rolls. Sprinkle generously with the horseradish sauce,
then top with a slice of tomato and shredded lettuce. Serve
