            Sloppy Joes

 

1  tesp dry mustard
salt & pepper
1  clove garlic, minced
2  pounds cooked beef, chopped
1  tbs vinegar
1  tbs Worcestershire sauce
1  medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup)
 1/2  of a small green pepper, chopped (1/4 cup)
3  tablespoons butter or margarine
2  cups barbecue sauce

Cook onion, green pepper, and garlic in butter or
margarine in a large skillet until tender
Stir in cooked beef, barbecue sauce, vinegar,
Worcestershire sauce, salt, dry mustard, and
pepper; bring to boiling. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
Serve on hamburger buns. Makes 12 to 16 servings
