Cullen's  Oriental Turkey With Herbed Rice

 

1 1/3 cups plus 2tbs water
1/2 cup dry vermouth or dry sherry
1/4 cup vegetable oil
2 tbs soy sauce
1 tesp dry mustard
1 pd sliced turkey cutlet
1 package 5.2 oz herbed rice au gratin wild rice
1 tbs butter
1 cup small broccoli florets

Combine 2 tbs of the water, vermouth, oil, soy sauce and dry mustard in glass 
dish large enough to hold turkey. Add turkey in a single layer, cover and 
marinate 30 min. Combine contents of rice and seasoning packets, remaining
13/4 cup water and butter in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Cover tightly and simmer
20 mins stirring occasionally. While rice is simmering heat 1/4 cup of marinade in skillet 
over medium heat. Add turkey and sauté in marinade until cooked through about 3 min per side
or until done. After rice has simmered 20 min add broccoli and stir. Remove from heat
and let stand 5 min
