Tex Mex Nachos

James's Beef Nachos

1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 cup salsa
 Tortilla chips
To taste picante or other sauce  
1 cup  Shredded Cheese
Toppings of your choice: chopped onion, chopped tomato, sliced jalapeno, sliced olives,
 sour cream, guacamole, chopped green pepper, or other toppings to your taste.

Sauté the ground beef in a frying pan until brown. Spoon out excess oil and add 1/2 cup salsa.
Let simmer about 3 minutes. Arrange yourftortilla chips on a micro-waveable dinner plate.
With a slotted spoon, top the chips with your meat mixture and sprinkle with 1 cup of the shredded cheese.
Microwave on high for 2 to 3 minutes or until cheese is melted, rotating your place every minute.
Then just top it with your choice of toppings.
