Granny's Sausage Chili Macaroni 

 

1 pound bulk pork sausage
1 (16 ounce) can sliced tomatoes, undrained
1 package  Hamburger Helper Chili Macaroni
1 (15-16 ounce) can pinto or kidney beans, rinsed and drained
3 1/2 cups hot water
2 teaspoons chili powder
1 (8.5 ounce) can whole kernel corn
cheddar cheese
chili powder

Cook sausage in 12-inch skillet over medium heat, stirring with heatproof spatula or spoon to break sausage into small pieces. Cook until sausage is no longer pink; drain sausage in colander. Return sausage to skillet.
  Stir tomatoes, uncooked Pasta, Sauce Mix, beans, hot water, chili powder and corn into sausage. Heat to boiling, stirring frequently; reduce heat.
Cover and simmer 15 minutes, stirring frequently; remove from heat. Uncover and let stand about 5 minutes or until sauce is as thick as you'd like (sauce will thicken as it stands). Sprinkle with shredded Cheddar cheese and chili powder if desired.
