Lynn's Tongue Ragout 

 

1 x Boiled ox tongue, sliced 
3 oz Butter or margarine 
3 1/2 oz Plain flour 
1 3/4 pt Beef stock 
1/4 pt Red wine -or- 
3 tbl Lemon juice 
    Sugar 
    Salt 
1 x Recipe Kat's Meat Balls MB27
 Method :
Melt butter; add flour & cook until medium brown. Add cold stock; stir constantly; simmer 10 minutes on low heat. Season with wine, sugar & salt.
Add tongue & Kat's meatballs
