Tex Mex Tostados

Granny's Turkey Bean Cheese Tostada

12 each tostada or Chalupa shells
16 ounce can refried beans
4 cups shredded lettuce
2 to 3 cups cooked, diced turkey
2 cups chopped tomato
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
2 cups shredded white or yellow cheese
1 cup picante sauce
1 seeded, peeled, and chopped avocado 
1/2 cup chopped cilantro 

Spread refried beans, divided evenly, on each tostada or chalupa shell. Layer remaining ingredients, in the order listed above, on each shell and serve immediately
