Chavez Mexican Hominy Skillet
1 pd ground beef
1 16 oz can yellow Hominy drained
1/2 cup each; chopped bell pepper; and water
1/2 envelope chili mix 2tbs
2 tbs dry onion soup mix
1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
To taste; picante or other sauce Mexican Sauces

In a large skillet over medium heat, brown beef, drain fat. Stir in all
other ingredients except cheese.
Cook stirring about 5 min. Sprinkle cheese and cover and cook till cheese melts

cans hominy
2 cans tomatoes, cut up
1 chopped bell pepper
chili powder
garlic powder
salt
Saute onion and bell pepper in small amount of oil. Add
tomatoes and hominy. Season with chili powder, garlic powder and salt to taste.
Simmer for at least 20 minutes.
