Chicken Wings
Shanna's Glazed Baked Wings
16 chicken wings
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup sherry or rice wine
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon fennel seed, crushed
1/4 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
PREPARATION:
Cut each chicken wing through joints, leaving three pieces; discard the tip
portion. In a plastic bag, combine remaining ingredients. Add wing pieces and
seal the bag. Marinate in refrigerator for 3 hours, turning bag occasionally to
keep all wings coated. Drain chicken wings and place on baking sheet.
Bake at 375° for 30 minutes, turning once during cooking, until chicken
wings are well browned and done.
Makes 36 chicken wing pieces.
