Cullen's Cornish Hens With Wine Sauce


Ingredients

      6    cornish hens; halved
      1    salt; to taste
      6 tb red wine
    1/4 c  margarine; melted
      4 tb lemon juice

Instructions

This recipe comes from The Blue Ribbon Poultry Cookbook - it's favorite
recipes of Home Ec Teachers . Nice, simple and tasty.

Season Cornish hens with salt; place in baking pan. Cover with heavy-duty
foil. Mix wine, margarine and lemon juice. Bake at 325 F, 1 hours, basting
frequently with sauce until all is used. Uncover; bake
30 minutes longer.
